Have not posted in a while, not like it matters only have like two readers anymore lol. Either way, I got around to changing the profile image temporarily, now I want to change the audio playlist again. I have been playing a moderate amount of FFXI lately on Bismarck server, but most of my time has been going to studying and writing papers as I have two weeks left of classes (starting tomorrow) and then an exam week with only one exam on the Monday. Have a 4.0 so far this semester, just need to keep it now. Well either way, here is a minor update for the hell of it, just like old times.
75 Paladin!!! Only took like four months! On a serious note though, I was wondering what merits I should do for it. So far I have level 2 Sentinel Recast and Level 1 Chivalry and looking to cap both Group 1 and Group 2. I was told a good group 1 pattern is to cap both Sentinel Recast and Shield Bash Recast which is pretty self explanatory, even without an Aegis. As for Group 2, I have not the slightest clue. I always receive different answers depending on the events that you take the job too. Mainly all I will use Paladin for is campaign, sea, limbus, and other random things like bcnms, ksnms, znms, ??nms. Basically an all around Paladin that will only see the light of day every so often (other than for campaign at least, need to get ranking up!) I have one merit in chivalry as it would seem a necessity to put at least one merit into it. As for what else, like I said, gonna need some advice. I also need a new back piece, preferably buy able or non-valor/shadow cape. Should I camp a resentment cape or is there something better to use. Right now I'm using my Cuchulain's Mantle (DEF:8 STR+4 DEX+4 ACC+5) on mobs I can TP on for Atonement and Gigant Mantle in other situations (lolTaru ; ;) I figured that it would be better to get some advice from others who have more experience with the job (yes, even you Tony.)
Another question, this time not FFXI related. Anyone ever tried Captain Morgan's Tattoo Rum? Been thinking about buying a handle of it but never tried it to see what it was like and I do not feel like wasting money on it. Gonna be going Liqueur shopping soon to stock the bar for summer and was wondering if it would be a good choice and if not, what would be some of your picks?
Other than that, life has been bland. College, work-out, a little FFXI, and the rest of my time has been playing SotN. Castlevania Symphony of the Night is fucking awesome, worth all the replay value (even if it is a pain in the ass.) Pick it up on the 360/PS3/Wii(?) online stores or go out and buy the original on the PS/GBA if you haven't played it yet, you won't regret it.
